Over these nights and days, can't think and don't know what He says.
Trying to comprehend, this rhyme how to bring it to an end.

| Trying to fill these holes in my life with all of these material things, yet happiness for a moment can not be found. Seeking permanent satisfaction in the world, yet this satisfaction of life is not attainable by any means.
Satisfaction is what we want, but it is not what we are meant to live for. Many may disagree, then again they don't understand the truth, and truthfully neither do I. I don't fully understand all of it, yet it is truth that we are not to know all, for we would be God ourselves if we knew all. Belief is it a thief in the night, a trick of the mind, or does our heart and body have a soul? Many believe they are going to heaven, yet they do not understand this concept of truth. lacking in discipline
Mistreating my health
lacking in motivation
Seeking all wealth
lacking in spirit
Only wanting
that of the earth
Always flaunting
those material things
Past haunting
those who obsess
Not being persistent
Of the Lord above
Not being consistent
In prayer
Not being resistant
Of the devil's temptation
Falling fast
For my desire
Crashing into the past
Repeating sin and fire
